Hi there! My name is Melissa (www.itsaveggiefullife.com) and this week I went outside the box in several ways. For one, my fitness coach was out of town all week which left me with a lot time on my hands. Last Saturday, I did my first spin class! I loved it. Over the week, I increased my jogging time on the treadmill to 90 seconds every few minutes. Not a lot for those runners out there, but for me it was a big deal. The biggest thing I did was the PowerX barbell class at the gym on Friday. I’d written it in my Fitbook so I knew I had to do it. It was a butt kicker, but I can’t wait to do it again this week! In fact, I’ve rearranged my fitness coach sessions this coming week just so I can do PowerX again. Today, I found a “Couch to 5K Running Plan” while on Facebook looking at a friend’s Fan Pages, and I’m going to start that plan. A year ago, I never would have thought about running! Now I’m actually liking the idea.
