Nibbles Noted!
After reading everyone’s oh so healthy eating habits I feel so ashamed! Okay, not that ashamed. =) Still, there is definitely room for improvement. I decided to note my nibbles on Wednesday. This was fun since I spent the majority of the day away from home shopping with the kids. Fun stuff indeed.
Breakfast - Banana - This was a grab and go type of morning. Definitely not setting myself up for success here. I honestly don’t remember how I was feeling, but it was probably good as I drove down the road eating my banana and hanging out with the kids.
Lunch - 1/2 Turkey on 9 Grain Honey Oat with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Green Pepper, & Oregano [Subway] & a Sync Vitamin Water. Felt really good with my choice. After watching Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution I am really turned off typical fast food.
Snack - Starbuck Grande Dark Cherry Mocha Frapp. It was a hot day and this really hit the spot.
Dinner - A big plate of veggie stir fry. This was bok choy, green pepper, onion, carrots, & bean sprouts with some seasoning and soy sauce. I also had a 1/2 cup [approx] leftover ham with whole grain noodles and some gravy. I felt pretty satisfied with my choices and full.
Snack - A 1/2 cup Raspberry Jello. I love wiggly, jiggly food [it’s just fun] and I felt this satisfied my sweet tooth quite nicely.
