Hurray for being sugarless!!
About 2 months ago, I had a weird undiagnosed medical problem which severely limited my diet. Nothing with white flour, full fat dairy, potatoes, sugar, or artificial sweetener. It was a rough period, but one of the benefits was learning how to go without sugar or fake sugars! While I am currently back on a “normal” diet, I still try to limit my sugar intake, and I avoid artificial sweetener like the plague. I decided to go completely without in honor of this challenge. Breakfast was oat bran with cinnamon and raisins. Lunch was salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing. Dinner was chicken with veggies. I had fruit and nuts for snacks throughout the day as well. I love how going sugarless makes me feel, so energized and awake!! I might start something like a sugarfree day a week, and try to lower my intake every other day.
