Sugar-free Day
Yup, this challenge was just as difficult as I had expected. I have a major sweet tooth in general, so I had to cut out whatever scones, chocolates, etc. I would have eaten during the day. But not just that - I had to avoid bread! I already knew bread has sugar, but it still wasn’t enjoyable. I ate Wasa crackers instead (so good!). My day consisted of oatmeal, cheese, lots of fruit and veggies, an egg, plain yogurt… but no sugar. It was hard. It did make me think a little more about what I eat, though. And on the bright side, I made a new food discovery: Whole Foods’ Organic Unsweetened Peanut Butter! Amazing. But I’m glad to have my granola back.
