Outside the Box Challenge

From March 1-May 1, we're getting outside of our boxes to try new foods, exercises, and other healthy activities. Follow our progress as we post about how we're meeting each week's new challenge.

    I must say I enjoyed all challenges a lot. Yes, some where easier than others, especially as I am currently making healthier changes for my life. So challenges were we should make food from scratch, try a new herb or new workout were rather easy for my as I was already working towards new things.

    Challenges that were harder for me were when we had to write everything we ate in one day. I find it extremely difficult to follow a food journal. I might be ok for a day or so, but afterwards I forget it exists, or remember when I can’t fully remember what I ate or how I felt before and after… so it was hard for me, but a good exercise and something I am trying to incorporate to my life. Also the challnge were we had to remove sugar was also not easy. First off becuase I was visiting back home nad they are many sweet treats I don’t usually enjoy, but I made it.

    All in all, this was a great experience which helped me to find more ways to be healthier and get to know myself and limtis more.
